Effective October 4, 2026. These terms are original to Story Vault. A lawyer should review them before a public release.
Acceptance
Story Vault is a reading service from LIA.M Studios. Creating an account, reading a story, posting a comment, or sending a manuscript means you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Story Vault.
Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use Story Vault only with a parent or guardian’s permission. Stories marked Mature are for adults 18 and older. You confirm your age when you open one.
Accounts
You are responsible for the name, email, and password on your account, and for what happens while you are signed in. Use a password you do not use anywhere else. Tell the studio through Help and Support if you believe someone else is using your account. Story Vault may refuse a name that impersonates another person.
Reader conduct
Read, bookmark, and comment in a way that does not harm other people. Do not scrape the library, break access controls, or share an account in order to get around a lock. Comments must follow the Community Guidelines.
Creators
A creator must be invited or approved by the studio before a story is shown to readers. Approval is not a promise that a story will stay published. The studio can ask for changes, reject a submission, or remove a story.
Your stories and comments
You keep ownership of the stories, images, and comments you submit. You give Story Vault a limited, non-exclusive license to host, format, display, and back up that material so the service can run. The license ends when the material is removed, except for copies kept only as long as a backup or a legal duty requires. You promise you have the rights to what you submit.
Prohibited content
Do not submit or comment with material that is illegal, that sexualizes a minor, that threatens or harasses someone, that is spam, or that infringes someone else’s copyright. Story Vault may hide, reject, or remove that material and may restrict an account that keeps doing it.
Copyright
If you believe something on Story Vault uses your work without permission, use the Copyright page. The studio will review the notice and can take the material down. Repeat infringement can end an account.
Moderation, reports, and blocks
Readers can report a comment or a story, and can block or mute another account. Those choices hide that person’s comments from you. They do not by themselves delete the other account. The studio reviews reports and can approve, reject, remove, or restore material. A short reason is kept with a rejection.
Free reading
Published stories and chapters are free to read. Drafts stay private until the studio publishes them. Story Vault does not sell chapter access, memberships, or downloads.
Reading achievements
Reading streaks, finished chapters, reading time, bookmarks, and badges are records of what you have read. They have no cash value and do not change what you can read.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
Story Vault can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, especially after repeated reports. You can delete your account from Profile or from the public deletion page without reinstalling the app. Deletion removes the account and the personal data described in the Privacy Policy, except a short record that a deletion was requested when the law or a fraud review requires it. That record does not keep your stories or comments.
Availability
Stories, audio, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance, a failed upload, or a provider outage. Story Vault does not promise that every chapter or notification will be available at every moment.
Disclaimers
Stories are fiction unless a creator says otherwise. Story Vault is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, LIA.M Studios disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LIA.M Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost stories or reading progress beyond restoring what is still in the account. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for injury caused by gross negligence.
Changes
The studio can update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. If you keep using Story Vault after the new date, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete the account.
Governing law
The owner of Story Vault must name the governing law and venue before a public release. Until that choice is recorded in this section, these terms do not assign disputes to a state or country.
Contact
Help, problem reports, and copyright notices go through Help and Support. Account deletion is also at the deletion page. Those messages are stored for the studio. A separate public email inbox is not connected.
